All writers submitting to Writer's Muse retain full copyright of their material.
All material is accepted, unless otherwise stated, as being First British Serial Rights.
Briefly, this means that the piece submitted is acknowledged, by the author, and Writer's Muse, as being original and not published anywhere else in Great Britain. If this is not the case, as a matter of courtesy, could anyone submitting please supply Writer's Muse with a brief pedigree of the material - when and in which publications it has appeared.
Writer's Muse retain the right to publish all material in the hard copy version of Writer's Muse and in any future hard copy anthologies. Writer's Muse also reserves the right to publish electronically (on this site) any submitted material in 'featured' pages, 'best of' pages, and 'archived work' pages.
Throughout, all copyright remains with the author of the material.
Unfortunately, being a small press magazine, Writer's Muse does not currently pay for publication of material submitted. Currently, also, we cannot supply a complimentary copy of Writer's Muse as payment.
